Chris came to Kenelm Systems in 1998 after working for a time in design applications for brochures and websites. He has since made extensive use of many advanced features of the Progress language to develop a range of applications including sales quotations, workshop management, and purchase order processing. His work has also involved him in integrating bespoke applications with packaged ledgers.
Never afraid of a challenge, Chris is always keen to get involved in new application areas and new programming techniques. Apart from using Microsoft Automation and ODBC and linking Progress applications to other software, he is an enthusiast for web-enabling applications, particularly enquiry systems, to allow businesses to publish data on their own intranet, or over the internet.
