Property Rental

Any company renting business properties needs to use a rent ledger to handle the complexities of invoicing for rental together with the various services and utility charges such properties attract. A property owning company were able to describe in detail the manual system they had previously operated and this allowed Kenelm Systems to produce a bespoke application, linked to their existing ledgers, to produce automatically all necessary invoices on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly contracts, and to give advance warning when such contracts were due for renewal.

The resultant system has greatly simplified their administration, reduced errors, and ensures that invoices are produced in a timely and accurate manner, while rental renewals and other contract changes are flagged well in advance.

This project is typical of many handled by Kenelm Systems. Few situations represent "green field" environments. Almost always, as in this case, we need to evolve or replace an existing system - while causing our client minimal disruption. Consequently, in over twenty years, we have learnt how not only to develop powerful and intuitive solutions, but to implement these systems effectively - first time - in a way that causes minimal distraction.
